ELARG Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund REIT is the first special purpose entity, created for investments in agricultural land in Bulgaria. The company was incorporated in April 2005. The fund’s duration of existence is until 2018.
The main purpose of ELARG Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund REIT and its management is to organize the acquisition, leasing out and expansion of agricultural land in accordance with the parameters specified in the prospectus. The staff of the fund and its fund-servicing company Agromanage AD strive to manage the portfolio of assets in a prudent and successful manner, ensuring maximum profitability for the investors.
ELARG Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund REIT is a public company. The capital of the fund is in the amount of BGN 59.7 million, distributed into 59,715,885 shares with a right-to-vote of par value BGN 1 each. The funds raised from subsequent increases amount to BGN 73.2 million. The shares of the fund, which are freely tradable on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), are in the amount of 25.47% of the company’s capital.
